Chair of trustees and founder Education is both Lindsey's passion and speciality. She home educated her son for over six years while state education did not work for him then, and has ensured that he has been able to meet or exceed all key age-appropriate learning objectives, ready for his GCSE courses now he has resumed state education. Her expertise learned both during these years, and also in her previous corporate life in human resources and training, has been recognised by her son's local education authority, who have invited her to help redraw policy and best practice for home education delivery. Lindsey is a school governor and is writing a book to help parents support their child's learning at home. Bernard Stedman Treasurer Keith Markham Keith lives in West Wickham, Kent and is father of Sarah who was diagnosed with 22q at 4 months old following surgery for an interrupted aortic arch and VSD. He has spent his whole career in banking and is currently a Credit Officer for a major US Bank. Keith holds a Banking Diploma from the Institute of Financial Services. He believes it is important to increase the general public's awareness of 22q and to help create an environment in which people affected by the condition can achieve their full potential. Trustee Bridget lives in Aberystwyth, Mid Wales with her husband Gareth and 2 year-old daughter Elain. Bridget is a graduate of Aberystwyth University with a degree in International Relations. After working for several years in various administrative roles in both the public and private sectors, Bridget settled as the departmental secretary of Aberystwyth University Sports Centre in 2007. Following Elain's birth in 2010 Bridget took a 2 year period of maternity and subsequently swapped roles at the centre to fit in caring for Elain full time around her part-time work commitments. Having retrained in the last 12 months Bridget is now a qualified fitness and spinning instructor and divides her time at work between instructing, life-guarding and reception.
